Allen Richard Lundberg, age 80, passed away on June 17, 2026, at his home in Wrentham, Massachusetts surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 5, 1945, he was the son of Charles A. and Rosa L. (Segerstedt) Lundberg.

Allen was raised in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston and attended Boston Technical High School, graduating with the class of 1963. Later that year he met his future bride, Eileen Ann DeChristofaro, at a dance held at Sacred Heart Church in Roslindale.

On November 6, 1963, Allen answered the call to serve his country, proudly enlisting in the United States Air Force. After basic training Allen was deployed to fight the war in Vietnam, serving overseas for almost two and a half years. During his time with the Air Force, Allen was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, and the Longevity Service Award. He was honorably discharged on November 3, 1967 with the rank of Sergeant.

Returning home to Mattapan, Allen was reunited with his Eileen, who was now his fiancée. Just shy of a year later, wedding bells were ringing and Allen married the love of his life, Eileen, on September 8, 1968, in St. Theresa's Church in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. The young couple made their married home in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston and Allen settled into a job in car sales. They later moved to West Roxbury, and Allen would switch careers, finding a position with Local 6 - the Heat and Frost Insulators Union as an installer. In 1976, Allen and Eileen moved out of the city and into the suburbs, landing in Walpole, Massachusetts, where they would raise a family, welcoming daughters Christine and Michelle in the coming years. They resided in Walpole until 2005, moving to nearby Millis, Massachusetts until late 2024, when they moved to their current home in Wrentham.

In 1981, Allen had the opportunity to become a business owner, purchasing Chavis House Cleaning, a residential and commercial cleaning company, from a friend. Allen and his team served many families and businesses in Walpole and beyond, taking care of the Country Kitchen, Century 21, Swenson's and more for many years. Allen built up his business and made incredible community connections over his thirty-five years as owner and operator, until his well-deserved retirement in 2016.

Allen was a loving husband and father; a family-oriented man who consistently put his wife and children before himself, making sure everyone had what they needed and wanted. This love and devotion carried over to the next generation too, with Allen taking on the mantle of "Fah Fah", thankful to be a grandfather. His family, and his country, were the biggest sources of pride and joy in Allen's life. Patriotic to his core, Allen loved collecting American Flag and Air Force related clothing and items, especially thrilled when he received them as gifts from his loved ones.

Allen enjoyed playing pool, horse shoes, poker, and cribbage. He loved taking a chance with scratch tickets, one time winning ten thousand dollars and somehow keeping it a secret. He never turned down golf time on the greens and loved to square dance, do-si-do'ing the night away to his favorite country tunes. He enjoyed traveling to Florida, especially on trips to Disney with the kids and grandkids. At home he loved to learn history, reading books and sharing his new knowledge with his family. He was reserved, quiet, and contemplative, yet witty, eliciting countless laughs with his dry humor, which will be greatly missed.

Beloved husband of Eileen Ann (DeChristofaro) Lundberg.

Loving father of Christine Lutfy and her husband John of Wrentham, and Michelle Ingeme and her husband Carl of Kingston.

Cherished Fah Fah of Nicholas Lutfy of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, Anthony Lutfy of Wrentham, Alexander Lutfy of Wrentham, Thomas Lutfy of Wrentham, Andrew Lutfy of Wrentham, and Michael Ingeme of Kingston.
