Anthony Nicholas Castillo

July 17, 1997 — May 26, 2022

Anthony Nicholas Castillo, age 24, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in the John Scott House in Braintree, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Whidbey Island, Washington on July 17, 1997, he is the son of Ronald A. Castillo and Paula J. Sheerin.  Anthony spent his early years touring the United States while his parents were on active duty in the military, before settling in Plainville, Massachusetts in 2005.  As a young boy, Anthony loved playing baseball, gathering with his teammates from the recreation league.  He went on to graduate from King Philip Regional High School with the Class of 2016, alongside his lifelong friends.

Following his graduation, Anthony found his career with Blue Hill Plumbing and Heating, first serving an apprenticeship, before becoming a fire suppression specialist, installing sprinkler systems.  While his job was based in sprinklers, Anthony's true passion was for anything with a motor.  He could be found in his yard working on vehicles and equipment, riding through the woods on his dirt bike, or cruising the streets on his motorcycle.

Throughout his life, Anthony maintained a great group of friends, who he loved spending time with and would do anything for.  He was always the life of the party, making everyone smile and laugh.  Back at home, Anthony loved being surrounded by his brothers and sister, taking on that same life of the party role with his family.

Beloved son of Paula J. Sheerin of Plainville and Ronald A. Castillo of North Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Loving brother of Jared, Nathan, and Sheerin all of Plainville.

Cherished grandson of Edward and Audrey Sheerin of Plainville and John and Vickey Paulussen of Ferndale, Michigan.

Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
