Bonnie Louise Morton

March 16, 1950 — February 11, 2023

Bonnie Louise Morton, age 72, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, Rhode Island.  Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on March 16, 1950, she was the daughter of Ralph A. and A. Louise (Dibblee) Morton.  She spent her early years in Norwood before settling in Walpole, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1968.

Following her graduation, Bonnie attended Peabody Cosmetology School, earning her hairdresser's license, taking a position in a salon in Dedham.  Later she moved to Cape Cod to make her home in Dennis, Bonnie worked in a local salon, while pursuing her passion for photography.  As her portfolio developed, Bonnie turned her passion into a small business, working as a wedding photographer on the Cape.  Bonnie loved to venture out to catch the perfect shot, whether at the canal, on a beach, or in one of the quaint downtown settings. Bonnie also enjoyed fishing and lobster trapping, spending countless hours on the water.

Later Bonnie returned to her education, taking computer programming courses at Bunker Hill Community College and furthered her skill set becoming a certified Microsoft Engineer.  She also received training and became a Substance Abuse and Drug Addiction Counselor.

She has spent the last few decades as a resident of Foxboro, Massachusetts. While she worked hard, Bonnie's greatest love was just being “Auntie Bon” to her niece and nephews. She was delighted to welcome them into her life, encouraging them with their dreams, sharing her funny stories, attending their sporting events, ensuring they kept warm with one of her hand knit sweaters.  Every one of them loved her cooking. At the end of a long day, Bonnie looked forward to relaxing with her golden retrievers that she loved so much.

Devoted daughter of A. Louise (Dibblee) Morton of Walpole and the late Ralph A. Morton, Jr.

Loving sister of Robert A. Morton of Castle Rock, Colorado, Ronald W. Morton of Walpole, and Sharon E. Farinacci and her husband, John, of Brewster.

Sister-in-law of Cynthia Morton of South Yarmouth.

Cherished aunt of Angela Morton and her partner, Jeff, of Waltham, Wesley Farinacci and his wife, Ashlyn, of Middleboro, Nathan Farinacci and his wife, Jasmin, of Mansfield, and the late Jared Morton; and great aunt of Jamie, Alison, Alexi, Emmalie, and Noah.

During her recent years, and with severe illness especially, Bonnie had many friends who she truly appreciated and we know they will miss her very much.

She is predeceased by her beloved dogs, Tara, Kelsey, Liza, Lilly.
