Brian Lanval Silcott

Brian Lanval Silcott, 34, of Walpole and formerly of Taunton, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and his cat, Skye, on April 20th, 2026, after a lifelong battle with Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome.

Brian accomplished so much in his 34 short years. He persevered through many missed school days due to illness and obtained his GED. Brian was proud of his independence and having his own apartment, driver's license, and car. He had a dream of becoming a personal trainer and worked hard to condition his body to the best of his ability, despite the effects of his illness. He loved being active, whether in the gym or in nature!

Brian had a great sense of humor and would make everyone around him laugh and feel special. He wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He lifted the spirits of everyone he met.

Brian is survived by his loving parents, James and Judith Langmead of Walpole, MA. He is also survived by his brothers, Eric Langmead, Andrew Langmead, Mark Langmead, Joshua Langmead (Meredith), Matthew Langmead (Kotoe), Daniel Langmead (Ashley), and David Langmead; and sisters, Greta Langmead of California, Sarah Langmead, Allyson Hamilton (Peter), Desire Langmead, Tiffany Langmead of North Carolina, Alicia Langmead, and Jakeline Garcia of Alaska. As well as brothers, Marques and Isaiah Sanders, and the extended family in Massachusetts and Georgia.

Brian was a loving and fun uncle to many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Sanders; his brother-in-law, John Zaroubi; his loving family friends, Jean and David Tilden; his brother, Miguel Zayas; and his sister-in-law, Michelle Langmead.

His family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Tufts Medical Center for the care he received. Brian, being the personable person he was, loved conversing with the staff that cared for him and knew each of them by name during his many hospital stays and appointments.

We’ll miss all your ‘Brianisms’!

May peace and comfort surround you forever now, Bri-guy!

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Brian's name to Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA. https://giving.tuftsmedicalcenter.org/give-now

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a later date in June.
