Christine Carr

Christine (Powers) Carr entered into eternal rest on October 3, 2021. Born in Boston on July 31, 1966 daughter of the late Neil and Patricia Powers. Loving mother of Neil Liam Carr. Sister to Sheila Dubrawski (Edward) of Medway, Patricia Concannon (Tim) of Taunton.

Christine, known affectionately as “Deen” by her nieces Kelly Kennedy, Katie Concannon and Donna Dubrawski and nephew Tim Concannon and “Chrissy” to her cousins, leaves many dear friends and relatives, including her goddaughter Savannah Leigh Bannon but most especially her best friends Effie, John and Patrick Taylor.

Christine would make it a point to exude happiness in her voice and greet everyone with a big “hello”. We have many wonderful memories of holiday and family gatherings and summers vacationing on Sabattus Pond in Greene, ME.

Christine was a graduate of Walpole High School and Bridgewater State College. She began her career at Sexton Foods and worked at the Colgate Palmolive Company in Canton having a successful career in accounting and finance, though she was most proud of her son Neil, truly the light of her life.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the many care workers who supported Christine throughout her later life. May she rest in eternal peace.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for Christine’s memorial visitation on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Graveside service will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
