Dawn Marie Tetreault, age 62, passed away peacefully at home in Walpole, Massachusetts, on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 18, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Elwin S. and Helena W. (Webber) Tetreault. Dawn was raised in Walpole; a place she would call home her whole life. After graduating from Tri-County High School, class of 1985, Dawn began her career at Lifeworks where she was a dedicated assembler who was always willing to help with additional tasks.
From a young age, Dawn had an adventurous spirit and later, the privilege of experiencing many of America's greatest sights when she and her parents took a cross-country road trip in 1984. She became an international traveler when they later traversed the Trans-Canadian Highway, taking a camper all throughout Canada and into Alaska. Summers were spent camping at Pine Knoll in Albany, New Hampshire, where she could be found enthusiastically leading fireside singalongs, or down by the beach on her favorite rocking horse. Dawn had a passion for movement and her dancing would always make people smile.
In her free time, Dawn loved getting cozy and watching television with her family, particularly cooking competition shows and soap operas; “Murder She Wrote” and “General Hospital” were at the top of her list. She was somewhat of a foodie, savoring every bite and keeping a dedicated food journal of all her tasty meals. When she wasn't watching her soaps or thinking about food, Dawn could often be found determinedly conquering a word search or creating intricate designs with her latch hook rug projects, applying her keen eye for detail.
Dawn took great pride in being “Auntie Dawn” to her nieces and nephews, and treasured every second she got to spend with them. She later welcomed her great nieces and nephew with bright smiles, laughter, and an open heart like no other.
Dawn loved unconditionally and was her family's pride and joy. Like her namesake, she will always be remembered as a bright ray of sunshine, lighting up the world around her.
