Diane married her husband, John Stroh, on January 15, 1972 and she began her career in electronics assembly in Norwood, taking a position with Spears Associates.  Diane welcomed her daughter, Melanie in 1973 and after making her home in Foxboro, she welcomed her daughter, Cheri, in 1981.  Shortly thereafter, Diane moved back to Walpole, and continued her career in electronics, working for various companies.  She left the electronics field for a short time, taking a position at Auntie Annie's at the Walpole Mall, however returned to take a position with Hydralign on Main Street in Walpole.  In 1998, Diane moved back to Foxboro, and went on to take a position with Benny's in Mansfield.
In 2005, Diane moved across the country, making her home in Canyon City, Colorado and later spent a short time in Penrose, before settling in Florence.  While living in Florence, Diane regularly volunteered at the Senior Center and Community Help Center.  More recently, she moved back east, making her home in North Attleboro, Massachusetts to be closer to her family.
Diane loved crafting, creating beautiful works with her sewing machine, paint brushes, or colored pencils.  She was an avid collector of all things owls, spending years decorating her apartment.  Most of all, she loved spending time with friends, people watching or smoking a cigarette.
