Dodd E. Robinson

Dodd E. Robinson, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham, Massachusetts. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 2, 1959, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Priscilla L. (Lawley) Robinson.

Dodd was raised in Westwood, Massachusetts where he graduated from Westwood High School with the class of 1977. Later in life, he moved to Norwood, where he met the love of his life, Maureen Doherty, and the two celebrated a beautiful wedding at the gazebo on the Norwood Common. They eventually settled down in Walpole; a town he would call home for the rest of his life.

Having gotten a foot in the door during High School, Dodd found a career with a local hobby shop, Youlden's, in Westwood. While helping others explore their own hobbies, Dodd maintained a number of his own. He enjoyed listening to music and had a special affinity for Jimi Hendrix. He was also a fan of motorcycles, and despite not being a rider himself, held a wealth of knowledge and had a keen admiring eye for the vehicles. A great joy in Dodd's life was spending time on the Cape, where his parents owned a summer home in Eastham. Dodd loved to fish, and many cheerful days were spent running with his father on First Encounter Beach at low tide.

Beloved husband of the late Maureen S (Doherty) Robinson.

Proud son of the late Dr. Edward J. Robinson and Priscilla L. (Lawley) Robinson.

Brother of John O. Robinson and his wife Julie Hay of Haverhill, and Karen R. Bowie and her husband Calvin of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Uncle of Alison B. Davis and her husband Matthew of Falmouth, Maine, and Marilyn B. Dabritz and her husband Michael of West Newbury. Great uncle of Phoebe C. Davis of Falmouth, Maine, Lily M. Dabritz of West Newbury, and Ryan C. Dabritz of West Newbury.

Also survived by many acquaintances and friends in Walpole.

At the request of Dodd's family, his funeral service will be private.
