Donna Jean Bucklin

Donna Jean (Najarian) Bucklin, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her home in Monson, Massachusetts. She was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, on December 18, 1959, to George H. and Jean L. (Charshoodian) Najarian. Donna grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1977. After high school, she took courses at Framingham State College and earned her Bachelor's Degree in English Literature.

Drawing inspiration from her father’s pharmacy, Donna started her career as a pharmacy technician at Boston Children's Hospital. She later worked at several home infusion companies around Boston, putting her many years of experience to good use.

In 2005, Donna made her way west to settle in Belchertown, Massachusetts. While living in western Massachusetts, she reconnected with an old friend, Paul L. Bucklin. They got married on August 14, 2010, and together, they made a happy home in Monson.

Donna was a big Boston sports fan, cheering on the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics. She loved reading, especially the Harry Potter series, which she read multiple times. She also enjoyed trying her luck with video slots on her phone when she had free time.

But above all, Donna cherished her time connecting with friends and family. She loved chatting on the phone, sharing stories, laughs, and just catching up. She was truly devoted to her family, often baking special treats like cookies—both sugar and anisette. She was overjoyed with the arrival of her grandchildren, proudly calling herself “Grandma” and being an active, loving presence in their lives.

Loving mother of Brian G. Shea and his fiancé, Lauren Musselman, of Foxboro, Eric W. Shea and his wife, Kerri, of Chester, New Hampshire, and Amelia Cyr and her husband, Erik, of West Springfield.

Cherished grandmother of Owen Shea, Oliver Shea, Orion Shea, Aiden Cyr, Allistair Cyr, and Sabrina Cyr.

Former wife of William C. Shea.

Devoted daughter of Jean L. (Charshoodian) Najarian of Norfolk and the late George H. Najarian.

Sister of Debra Zarba and her husband, Chuck, of Walpole, Derek Najarian and his wife, Mila, of Brentwood, New Hampshire, Dennis Najarian of Plainville, and the late Dean Najarian and his surviving wife, Susan, of Wrentham.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Donna's visitation on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
