Donna Marie Gaffney, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at her home in Brockton, Massachusetts. Born in Stoughton, Massachusetts on August 21, 1979, she was raised by her father, Stephen H. Gaffney, in Sharon, Massachusetts. Donna graduated from Stoughton Academy and went on to take several child development courses to become certified in childcare.
Throughout her life, Donna was passionate about caring for others. She worked in several daycare centers near her home, including the Preschool Center in Norwood and the Sunshine Country Day School in East Walpole, lovingly caring for children of all ages. Her caring ways extended to her own family, after her father became ill, she spent many hours in his home, providing care for him until his untimely passing, and provided care and support to her grandmother, Emily, prior to her passing.
After welcoming her son, Jaydon, Donna settled into her home in Brockton, Massachusetts, where, more recently, she welcomed her son, Anthony. She loved being a Mom and spent as much time with her two sons as she could, sharing photos of all their adventures with family and friends.

Devoted daughter of the late Stephen H. Gaffney.
Sister of Stephen J. Gaffney of Norton, Roy Stevenson of Alabama, and Michael Stevenson of Cumberland, Rhode Island.
Cherished granddaughter of the late Henry and Emily Gaffney.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a graveside service in Knollwood Memorial Park, 319 High Street, Canton on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Donna’s GoFundMe https://gofund.me/569c9c54 for incidental expenses would be greatly appreciated.
