Evelyn "Bonnie" Eloise Thomas

Evelyn (Bonnie) Thomas, formerly of Walpole, MA, passed away peacefully in Mountain Brook Alabama on the morning of August 25, 2026.

Bonnie was a dedicated employee of the Walpole Public School system for many years, acting as the secretary at the Fisher School.

She spent many summers with her family at Pine Knoll Campground in Albany, NH and continued to make many friends and acquaintances in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Bonnie was an avid reader and enjoyed going on cruises and international travel.

Bonnie was the beloved wife of the late William J. Thomas and the daughter of the late James and Mary (Moran) Moroney. She was the sister of the late James Moroney.

Loving mother of William J. Thomas and his wife Loretta of Naples, FL, Brian J. Thomas and his wife Kathleen of Foxboro, MA, James F. Thomas and his wife Karen of Foxboro, MA and the late Judith A. Thomas.

Cherished grandmother of Kristen Thomas, Sean Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Brendan Thomas, Jay Sohn and great grandmother to Ellie and Roman Ouellette.

In addition, Bonnie also leaves behind her beloved and cherished cousin, Sr. Zita Fleming, CSJ, whose guidance and inspiration have blessed us all through the years.

Funeral services will be private.
