Hans Schmidt

Hans Schmidt, age 94, passed away in the Norwood Hospital on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.  Born in Luebeck, Germany on January 7, 1925, he was the son of the late Walter and Gertrude (Bumann) Schmidt.  He was a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past twenty years, moving from Attleboro, where he lived for thirty-seven years.

 

Hans owned and operated his own organ repair business, Hans Schmidt Organ Building and Repair, serving many churches across the country. 

 

Beloved husband of Lotte-Marie (Boettcher) Schmidt.

Brother of the late Kurt Schmidt, Walter Schmidt, and Margaret Schmidt.

 

All services will be private at the request of the family.
