Jack Roger Lynch

Jack Roger Lynch, age 84, passed away peacefully in his Walpole home on Thursday, November 24, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Born on August 7, 1938, he was the son of the late James E. and Evelyn (Dine) Lynch. He was raised in Walpole alongside his brother James and graduated from Boston Trade School with the class of 1956. Following graduation, Jack enlisted in the Unites States Army, proudly serving his country. Upon his return, he took a job with New England Telephone where he worked until his retirement. Jack married his wife, RoseAnne Ellis on November 29, 1961. The young couple made their home in Walpole where they raised their family.

 

Jack enjoyed reading, riding his motorcycle, the Boston Bruins, country music, Nascar, and meeting his brother and friends at the Country Kitchen. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

 

Beloved husband of RoseAnne (Ellis) Lynch. Loving father of Christina Frye of Walpole, Roger Lynch of Rehoboth, Deborah Cullen and her husband Douglas of Norfolk, Douglas Lynch of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and the late Sheryl Lynch. Cherished grandfather of Timothy Cullen, Stephanie Frye, Christopher Frye, Darren Lynch, Sarah Lynch, James Lynch. He was the brother of the late James Lynch of Walpole.

 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Jack’s visitation on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.

 

Jack will be laid to rest, privately, in the Pondville Cemetery in Norfolk, MA.
