Jacqueline Marie Crosby

Jacqueline Marie Crosby, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at her home in Norwood, Massachusetts. Born in Norwood on August 27, 1984, she was the daughter of John F. and Patricia A. (Washburn) Crosby. Jackie was raised in Norwood and graduated from Tri County Regional Vocational Technical High School in Franklin, where she earned her Certified Nurse's Aide Certificate with the Class of 2003. Jackie was very spiritual and loved people, fashion, exploring the outdoors, hiking, and watching birds.

Early in life Jackie had so many wonderful experiences. As a child she would spend summers on Newfound Lake with all of her family. She cruised the Caribbean with her father, mother, and brother. She spent countless hours hiking endless trails with her family, pups, and pals. It wasn’t at all rare to find Jackie at an amusement park on a random weekend with her Uncle Bob and a friend.

As a professional Jackie had a strong entrepreneurial streak and tried her hand at a number of different jobs in a variety of fields. She put her organizational skills to work in various office settings where she ensured everything ran smoothly. In addition to office work, Jackie loved working with animals, frequently helping her Mother, Tricia, with the horses at Plainridge and at home on the farm. Jackie always brought an infectious happiness to any workplace she graced with her quirky ways.

Jackie’s friendship was valued by a countless number of companions that crossed her path or shared in her adventures, her network was seemingly endless. She stayed in touch with friends from coast to coast, and even had friends abroad. She was incredibly generous with her time and always did what she could to help out a friend in need.

Throughout her life, Jackie held strong family values, and was delighted to see her circle grow, welcoming her son, Finch. Jackie loved being a Mother to Finch, treasuring every moment she spent with him, watching him grow, he truly became her everything.

Jackie is the loving mother of Finch Kasomany and is survived by Finch's father, Vann Kasomany, of Norfolk. She is the devoted daughter of Patricia Crosby and her partner, Phil Crockett, and the late John F. Crosby; and is the sister of Stephen Washburn and his wife, Stephanie, of Norwood. Cherished aunt of Michael and Eve Washburn of Norwood. Niece of Walter Washburn and his wife, Louanne, of Mansfield, Catherine Baronie and her husband, Frank, of Medway, Lenny Crosby and his wife, Cindy, of Michigan, Curtis Crosby of Mansfield, Kennis Crosby of Virginia, and the late James Washburn. Cousin of Robert Washburn, Donald Washburn, Samantha Perry, Jamie Baronie, Adam Crosby, Nicholas Crosby, and Gino Gillis.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Jackie's Life Celebration on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.
