James Paul Taylor

James Paul Taylor, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.  Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on February 24, 1964, he was the son of Arthur J. "Jack" and Madeline M. (Marinucci) Taylor.  Jimmy was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts, where he attended Walpole Public Schools.  Shortly after completing his education, Jimmy took a position with a local company, beginning his career in the scrapping business.

Jimmy went on to form his own business, James Paul Taylor Rubbish and Appliance Removal, based in his hometown of Walpole.  He would go out of his way to help anyone in town and always had a soft spot for the seniors in the community.  In addition to his scrapping business, Jimmy held positions at a few other local businesses, including Domino's Pizza on Washington Street.

While he worked hard, Jimmy loved giving back to his community.  He ran for election to serve on the Water and Sewer Commission as well as the Walpole Housing Authority.  Jimmy served with pride on both boards, doing his best to make a difference, voting with his heart.

As a true "Townie" Jimmy was known to many, cruising the streets in his yellow truck, keeping an eye out for any extra scrap that needed to be disposed of.  He shared a special bond with his dad, Jack, talking about days gone by and watching the high school football games.  Jimmy would go on to purchase the fire truck that was assigned to Jack, who was a call firefighter for many years.  As a proud son, Jimmy drove the truck in Walpole's Night Before the 4th Parade, honoring Jack after he passed.

Devoted son of the late Arthur J. "Jack" and Madeline M. (Marinucci) Taylor.

Loving brother of Elizabeth A. Stadnik of Manville, Rhode Island, Barbara J. Taylor and her husband, Dennis Rossetsky, of North Attleboro, Robert F. Taylor and his wife, Susan Peters, of Tomball, Texas, and John J. Taylor and his wife, Leann, of Mansfield.

Cherished uncle of Jennifer, Michael, Danielle, Courtney, Emily, Jill, and Molly; and great uncle of Brandon, Brady, and Beau.

Also survived by many members of his extended family.
