Jo-Marie DiGiantommaso

January 7, 1956 — October 15, 2022

Jo-Marie (Caccia) DiGiantommaso, 66, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts passed away on October 15, 2022 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 7, 1956, she was the daughter of Jennie Caccia of Walpole and the late Carlo Caccia.  She was raised with her sisters in Dedham, Massachusetts and graduated from Dedham High School with the class of 1973. Soon after graduating, she enrolled in the Henry O Peabody School for Cosmetology and graduated with the class of 1974.

Jo-Marie married her husband, Joseph "Joe" A. DiGiantommaso, on October 14, 1979, in St. Mary's Church in Dedham, Massachusetts. Together they made their home in Norwood, Massachusetts and raised three beautiful children, a daughter and two sons. Eventually the family would move to Walpole in 1995 and call the town home until moving to North Attleboro, Massachusetts in 2013.

She felt lucky to have found her niche in life, of course with a little influence from her mother. Jo-Marie worked as a hairdresser at her family's salon, Jennie's Hair Salon in Dedham, Massachusetts. She had a true passion for taking care of her clients. She remained loyal to them and the salon for her whole career until her retirement in December of 2021.

In true Italian fashion, Jo-Marie enjoyed cooking anything and everything for her family that she loved with all of her heart. Often she would volunteer to host family for special events and holidays so she could show off her skills around the kitchen. One of her favorite past times was reading and she would get lost in a book whenever possible. With her favorite genres being romance and mystery, she would always try to solve the "whodunit" before finishing her book.

Beloved wife of Joseph A. DiGiantommaso.

Loving mother of Joseph C. DiGiantommaso and his wife Lauren of Walpole, Gina D. Eldredge and her husband Timothy of Glastonbury, CT and Carlo C. DiGiantommaso and his wife Lauren of Walpole.

Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Liana, Giavanna, Timothy, Abrielle, Layla, and Olivia.

Jo-Marie was the sister of Janet O'Connell and her husband William of Plainville, MA, Rita Cunniff and her husband John of Walpole, MA and Carlene LaVita and her husband Joe of Walpole, MA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
