Joseph Paul Bisson

July 6, 1971 — June 26, 2020

Joseph Paul Bisson, age 48, passed away on Friday June 26th, 2020. Born in Norwood, MA on July 6th, 1971, he was the son of James and Leslie (Evans) Bisson. Joe grew up in Norwood with his older brother, James Jr., taking part in Norwood Youth Hockey and Norwood Little League.  He attended Catholic Memorial Highschool and Westwood high school, later completing the Professional Electrical Contractor of Connecticut’s program. 

Joe worked with P.E.C. of Connecticut for some time before moving out to Arizona, continuing working as an electrician for six years. He returned home and started his own handyman business in Walpole, Joe’s Handyman, for over 20 years.

When Joe wasn’t hard at work, he could be found walking the trails of the Hale Reservation in Westwood with his dogs, Harley and Champ. He loved the outdoors, savoring his time at the beach and soaking in the sun. He was a lover of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, enjoying watching games at home with his friends and family.

Beloved son of Jim and Leslie Bisson of Walpole. Brother of James T. Bisson, Jr and his wife Beth of Westwood. Uncle of Jack Madison Bisson of Westwood.  Nephew of Armand and Carol Bisson of Walpole, Stephen and Mary Beth Bisson of Dover, Fr. Joseph Bisson, SVD of Duxbury, Richard and Rose Bisson of Falmouth, Jack and Erica Evans of Marshfield.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
 
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attended Joe’s life celebration on Wednesday from 12 noon to 3pm, in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common St. Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole and 3:30PM.  Interment is private.  Memorial donations may be made to:  Fr.
