Linda D. Gallo

May 22, 1964 — October 12, 2020

Linda D. Gallo, age 56, passed away, suddenly, on October 12, 2020 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham, Massachusetts.

Born in Winchester, MA on May 22, 1964, she was the daughter of Maria Vasques and Anthony Gallo.

She was raised in Medford, where she graduated from Medford High School with the Class of 1982.

Following her graduation, Linda continued her education earning her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Emerson College in 1986.

As a young woman living close to Boston, she looked forward to her weekends, where she enjoyed dancing with her friends in one of the many nightclubs including Il Panino, The Palace and Avalon among others.

Linda's career in healthcare began when she took a position with New England Medical Center as an Administrative Assistant for 5 years.  She later transitioned to a career in long term care underwriting at John Hancock in Boston for over 15 years.  Afterwards, she briefly worked at Mutual of Omaha and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.  More recently, Linda held a position with the Department of Public Health, working with the COVID19 pandemic serving as a Contact Tracer.

Linda married her beloved husband, Michael R. Zinnack, on October 30, 2005 at the Longfellow Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts.  Together, they made their home
in East Walpole, Mass where they loved spending time at their home with their beloved dogs - Elsa, Wimbley and Zuzu.

Linda and Michael shared a passion for travel and enjoyed trips to the Caribbean.

Back home, as an avid beach goer, Linda would treat herself to numerous day trips to her favorite north shore beaches - Good Harbor and Wingarsheek - that she frequented in her younger years.

She had an admirable interest and care for animals and nature as reflected in her generous donations throughout her life.

When relaxing at home, Linda would never miss any of her favorite tv series, Mad Men and Downton Abbey.

Beloved wife of Michael R. Zinnack.
Devoted daughter of Maria Vasques and the late Anthony Gallo of Medford.
Loving sister of Luisa Howland and her husband Don of Osborne, Kansas.
Cherished Aunt of Jason and Christopher Howland, also of Osborne, Kansas, and Joshua, Benjamin, Nicole and Danielle of Massachusetts.
She is also survived by her brother-in-law Bradley and sister-in-law Christine as well as her cousins Sergio and Robert Vasques.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Linda's Life Celebration on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 2 to 5pm at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.

As a result of the ongoing and ever developing health crisis in the world and with genuine concern for the people whom they love, Linda's family has decided that
her funeral services will be private, with a memorial gathering to take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to Morris Animal Foundation, 720 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite 174A, Denver, CO 80246 or at
