Lisa Ann (Skehill) Caughey, age 63, passed away on March 3, 2026, at Faulkner Hospital in Boston after a decade long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Cambridge on August 14, 1962, she was the daughter of Bernard and Carole (McAndrews) Skehill and was raised in Dedham, where she attended Dedham High School.
Lisa was married to Kevin J. Caughey for 39 years. They began their life together in Roslindale before settling in Medfield in 1992, where they raised their two daughters. Lisa began her career as a hair stylist and later built a successful career with Clarins Fragrance Group. In 2012, Lisa suffered a stroke that left her partially paralyzed, but she faced the years that followed with determination and resilience, supported by her devoted husband.
Above all, Lisa loved her family. She enjoyed traveling on cruises, relaxing by the pool, watching the Patriots, baking her famous irish bread, and spending time with friends and loved ones. She was known for her thoughtful planning, especially around holidays and family celebrations.
Lisa was the beloved wife of Kevin Caughey; loving mother of Laura Caughey of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Jillian Caughey and her husband Daniel Pokin of Chicago, Illinois; cherished daughter of Carole (McAndrews) Skehill and the late Bernard Skehill; and sister of Lori (husband Brian) Gifford, Sean (wife Catherine) Skehill, Patricia (husband Michael) Bissanti, and Kenneth (fiancee Jennifer Cardoso) Skehill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Services will be private, with interment at Vine Lake Cemetery in Medfield.
Arrangements are by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home in Walpole.
