Marylyn T. Maranhas

Marylyn T. (Lynch) Maranhas, age 81, passed away on February 17, 2021.  Born in Boston, MA, on August 31, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Francis G. and Josephine R. Lynch. She was raised in Boston and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School.

Marylyn married her late husband, Louis J. Maranhas, on July 1, 1978, in Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole.  Together Marylyn and Lou made their home in Walpole. For the past few years, Marylyn resided in Chalfont, Pennsylvania.

Loving mother of Donna Marie Groves and her husband, Alan, of Middleboro, Bob Ross and his wife, Sue, of Chalfont, Pennsylvania and Jeffrey Maranhas of Weymouth.

Cherished grandmother of Heather Groves, Matthew Groves and his wife Melissa, Kevin Ross, Michael Ross, and Christopher Ross; and great grandmother of Lucas, Landon, Logan, and Hunter.

Sister of Paul F. Lynch and his wife, Jeanne of Rockland, Richard P. Lynch and his wife, Dorothy of Foxboro and the late Edward T. Lynch. Cherished aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Marylyn's Life Celebration on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6 to 7:30 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.  A Funeral Home Service will follow at 7:30 PM.

Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 9:45 AM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
