Melissa L. St. Germain

January 24, 1971 — March 9, 2021

Melissa L. (Schnee) St. Germain, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Massachusetts.  Born in Akron, Ohio on January 24, 1971, she was the daughter of Linda (Vottis) Cox.  She was raised in Grand Isle and Buffalo, New York before settling in Norwood, Massachusetts with her family.

While living in Norwood, Missy met her soon to be husband, Derek J. St. Germain.  The young couple traveled across the country, making their home together in San Diego, California, while Derek was on active duty in the US Navy.  Missy and Derek were married in San Diego on August 18, 1993 and a year later they returned home to Massachusetts, settling in Walpole.

Missy spent her working career as a nurse's aide, spending several years at Victoria Haven Nursing Home and Norwood Hospital.  In addition, when Missy and Derek spent a short time in Orlando, Florida, Missy took a position with Orlando Regional Medical Center, working in the Trauma Unit.

When she wasn't at work caring for her patients, Missy enjoyed some quiet time at home, using her creativity to write short stories.  She also enjoyed collecting miniatures and dollhouses over the years.  Missy loved being outdoors, whether going for a walk or tending to her vegetable and flower gardens.  However, most of all, Missy loved spending time with her family and was a wonderful mom to her three children, Derek, Mason, and Lily.

Beloved wife of Derek J. St. Germain.
Loving mother of Derek J. St. Germain Jr., Mason St. Germain, and Lily St. Germain.
Sister of Vicki Quinones Romans, Kevin Fuller, Martha Fuller Metz, the late Marty Grabenstatter and the late Julie Quinones.
Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Missy's Life Celebration on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9 to 11 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.  A Graveside service will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Walpole at 11:30 AM.
