Michael J. Aquilino

Michael J. Aquilino, age 65, passed away in his Sun City West, Arizona home on Friday, July 13, 2018. Born in Newton, Massachusetts on April 14, 1953, he was the son of the late Daniel and Eleanor (Rooney) Aquilino. Michael was raised in Canton, Massachusetts, graduating from Canton High School with the Class of 1971, where he developed his lifelong passion for running.

After graduation, Michael found work with the Teamsters Union, Local 25, working at Ferrara Brothers in Canton, making his home in Brockton. He went on to work at the Stop and Shop Warehouse in Readville, spending 20 years with the Teamsters. Following his retirement, Michael moved to Sun City West, where he has made his home for the past 4 years.

Devoted son of the late Daniel and Eleanor (Rooney) Aquilino.
Loving brother of James Aquilino and his wife Stephanie of Walpole, Robert J. Aquilino and his wife Tammy of Colchester, Connecticut, and Paul D. Aquilino and his wife Mary of Walpole.
Cherished uncle of four nieces and nephews.
Also survived by his former wife, Sara, and many members of his extended family.

All services were private at the request of the family. Interment took place in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tufts Medical Center Development Office, 800 Washington Street, #231, Boston, MA 02111, with checks made out to: Tufts Medical Center for the Neurosurgery Innovation Fund.
