Michele Denise Vaillancourt

It is with great sadness we share that Michele Denise Vaillancourt (Peciaro) passed away in her home in November 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Kristin, and her family.

Michele is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mary Peciaro.

Michele leaves behind family and friends who came to love her during different seasons of her life. If you knew Michele, you know what it was to love her. And if Michele loved you, you know that she loved you to the best of her ability.

In seasons of full bloom, there was nothing that could stop her smile, undeniable charm, or full belly laugh.

But Michele also struggled throughout her life with variety of medical and mental health struggles. She worked for years to overcome mental illness and addiction. Michele never wanted to be defined only by her illnesses and mistakes, she was so much more than that. She was an amazing self-advocate. It is right to acknowledge and honor the fight she had and the progress she had made while recognizing the toll that struggle took on her life and those that she loved.

And now, we wish her final and complete peace.
