Miles Donald McAdam passed away on June 28, 2026, at Boston Children's Hospital. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 2, 2026, he was the son of Kevin Donald and Samantha Catherine (Pomer) McAdam.
"Miracle Miles" was a fighter and a one of a kind boy. He faced many unique challenges that he was not expected to overcome, yet he proved everyone wrong time and time again. Miles was the strongest and most resilient boy we have ever met. We will be forever grateful for the time he gave us to be together.
Through it all - he still smiled. He loved staring at you with his beautiful dark blue eyes. Miles loved squeezing your hand, sticking his tongue out, and soothing head rubs. But his absolute favorite was when he was being held by his mom and dad.
There are no words to describe how thankful we are for the amazing surgeons, doctors, nurses, and social workers that supported us through this time. So many people worked tirelessly and selflessly to make sure Miles received the best treatment possible. All of the staff knew him and loved him dearly which is a testament to the impact he was able to make on so many lives.
Miles may have only lived a few short months, but he was incredibly loved and will be forever missed. He will always be in our hearts.
Beloved son of Kevin Donald and Samantha Catherine (Pomer) McAdam of Waltham. Cherished grandson of Daniel and Meg McAdam of Waltham, and Donald and Maryann Pomer of Walpole. Nephew of Derek McAdam of Texas, and Courtney and Benjamin Lennon of Plainville. Cousin of Sophie and Mackenzie Lennon. Also survived by many loving great aunts and uncles, second cousins, and other extended family.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Miles' visitation on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. Because Miles brought so much light into our lives, we invite you to wear joyful, colorful clothing.
A funeral home service will be held Friday, July 3rd, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Miles' name may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital at www.bostonchildrens.org/giveinmemory.
