Patricia A. (Daly) Coyle, age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2020 in her North Chelmsford, Massachusetts home at the Residence at Freeman Lake. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on July 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Lillian (Balduf) Daly. She was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1960.
Pat was married to the late Francis X. Coyle from 1964 to 1979. She made her home in Millis, Massachusetts, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pat then settled in Chelmsford, Massachusetts in 1969, where she raised her three daughters, Kimberly, Kelly, and Kristen.
1980 was a big year for Pat, as she embarked on her 32 year journey with Digital Federal Credit Union. She joined DCU in their very first year in business and held many positions, most notably in loan services. Pat’s friendly personality and her extensive knowledge made her the go-to person for many of her colleagues until her retirement in 2012.
When Pat wasn't hard at work, she maintained a busy social calendar. She regularly met friends for a meal or a movie, and looked forward to her monthly get-togethers with her longtime friends from elementary school, the ‘Bird School Buddies’. As an avid traveler, Pat made wonderful memories on her many trips to places such as Hawaii, Alaska, the Panama Canal, Italy, and the Mediterranean. Back at home, Pat loved getting together with her family in Walpole to play cards and to catch up with everyone at the annual Memorial Day Cookout, which has been ongoing for the past 75 years.

Loving mother of Kimberly P. Chouinard and her husband, Matthew, of Dunstable, Kelly P. Cote of North Chelmsford, and Kristen E. Costa and her husband, Phillip, of Chelmsford.
Cherished Nana of Nicholas Costa, Mitchell Costa both of Chelmsford, Andrea Cote, Benjamin Cote, Samuel Cote all of North Chelmsford, and Matthew Chouinard of Dunstable.
Sister of Diane Batchelder and her fiancé, John O'Toole, of Franklin, the late Peter F. Daly, Jr. and his surviving wife, Martha, of Walpole, and the late Daniel Daly.
Long time close and important friend to the late Joe O’Connell and family of Billerica.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Pat's Life Celebration on Thursday, October 8, 2020 between the hours of 9 and 11 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.
As a result of the ongoing health crisis and with genuine concern for the people whom they love, Pat’s family has decided that her funeral service will be limited to family members with the burial to take place in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
