Patricia Frances Fennessey

Patricia Frances (Gallagher) Fennessey, age 84, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Sunrise of Norwood. Born in Bellows Falls, Vermont on May 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Elizabeth (Grandfield) Gallagher. She married her beloved husband, Thomas Vincent Fennessey, Jr., on October 4, 1969.

Patricia spent her working career as a registered nurse in the operating room at Norwood Hospital. She retired in 2002 after more than 36 years of dedicated service.

Loving mother of Thomas Vincent Fennessey, III and his wife, Rose, of East Weymouth and Jill Barrett of Kansas City, Kansas.
Cherished grandmother of Seamus Fennessey of East Weymouth.
Sister of the late Claire Gallagher Donovan.
Devoted aunt of Christopher Donovan of Sherwood, Oregon, Stephanie Waibel of Morrison, Colorado, and Lisa Mandl of Morrison, Colorado; and great aunt of two great nieces and two great nephews.

At the request of Patricia's family, all services will be private.
