Paul Chase Cosgrove

Paul Chase Cosgrove, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at his home in Foxborough, Massachusetts.  Born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 8, 1951, he was the son of Paul C. and Sally A. (Columbo) Cosgrove.  He was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts, where he graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1969.

 

Following his graduation, Paul began his career as a self-employed home painter, always ensuring his customers’ expectations were met with friendly service.  He made his home in Lynnfield, Massachusetts for a short time before settling in Foxborough.

 

Throughout his life, Paul loved being outdoors, spending a day on a hike, enjoying the beauty of nature that surrounded him.  He was a longtime member of the National Audubon Society, looking forward to many trips throughout the United States for a bird watching event, meeting countless people along the way.  Paul was truly content with the simple things in life, from spending time in nature to taking a car trip to find whatever adventure might come his way.

 

Devoted son of Paul C. Cosgrove of Saint Augustine, Florida, and the late Sally A. (Columbo) Cosgrove.

Loving brother of Mary E. "Mimi" Clark and her husband, Mason, of Norwood.

Cherished uncle of Mason Clark and his wife, Erin, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Michael Clark and his wife, Diana, of Falmouth, and Melissa Flaherty and her husband, Thomas, of Norwood; and great uncle of Gavin, Gracyn, Boden, Mason, Zoey, and Beau.

Godfather of Stewart Kennedy and his wife, Kerry, and their children, Declan and Lucy.

Nephew of Donald and Joanne Cosgrove of Mansfield.

Also survived by many loving and caring cousins and friends.

 

At the request of Paul's family, all immediate services will be private, with a celebration of life to be announced.
