Prescott Grover "Skip" Mollison, age 79, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at his home in Plainville, Massachusetts. Born in Brooklyn, New York on November 30, 1943, he was the son of Prescott J. and Beverley J. (Fleming) Mollison.
Skip had a wonderful life, enjoying joking and laughing with those who loved him. He always looked forward to relaxing outdoors, soaking up the warmth of the sun. During his time in Plainville, he made a lasting impression on his staff and housemates with his larger-than-life personality. He enjoyed going to parties, taking vacations, and seeing live events. Skip loved dogs and loved when his friends' dogs would sit in his lap. Skip came up with the best nicknames for staff, including “Pom Pom girl”, “the Pope”, “Batman”, “Hunny Bunny” and so many more. Once you talked to Skip you instantly fell in love, he sure did have a mouth on him; he always wanted a peanut butter sandwich and a Budweiser, or even an Italian sub with everything on it.
Skip was the loving son of the late Prescott and Beverly Mollison.
He is survived by his devoted caregivers at his home in Plainville, who always made sure Skip felt welcome and loved.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Skip's graveside service in Highland Cemetery, 320 Winter Street, Norwood on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Skip's name may be made to: North Attleborough Animal Shelter, 40 Cedar Road, North Attleboro, MA 02760
