Rocco P. Ralli

January 2, 1964 — April 17, 2020

Rocco P. Ralli, age 56, passed away peacefully in his Norwood, Massachusetts home on Friday, April 17, 2020.  Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on January 2, 1964, he was the son of the late William and Caroline (Lore) Ralli.  He was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts, where he was known as the “Ambassador” of the Old Stone School.  Rocco continued his education with SNARC through his high school years.

Throughout his life, Rocco loved movies. He looked forward to seeing new releases in theaters and was incredibly proud of his ever-growing movie collection.  As a connoisseur of food, no movie day was complete without a meal at a local restaurant, enjoyed either before or after the film.  In addition to movies and dining out, Rocco loved to travel.  In his younger years, his parents brought him on many trips, including trips to Maine and Disney World.  More recently, he enjoyed various outings with the other members of his Lifeworks Community in Norwood.  Some of these outings included trips to McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, where Rocco would cheer for his beloved Paw Sox.  He was genuinely loved by many and was always grateful to have those loved ones in his life. His family is forever grateful to all the loving staff at Lifeworks, who were family to him for many years. Most of all, Rocco loved being surrounded by his family and friends.

Devoted son of the late William and Caroline (Lore) Ralli.
Loving brother of Elaine Corfield of Norwood, Angela Gerth and her husband, David, of Norfolk, Virginia Ralli of Greenville, South Carolina, and William Ralli and his wife, Judy, of Plainville.
Cherished uncle of Maria, David, Shannon, and the late Jennifer.
Also survived by many friends and care givers at Lifeworks in Norwood.

As a result of the ongoing health crisis in the world and our community and with genuine concern for the well-being of all involved, Rocco’s family has decided that his visitation and funeral services will be private.  Interment will take place in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lifeworks, 789 Clappboardtree Street, Westwood, MA 02090.
