Roger Phillip Tardie

Roger P. Tardie, 80 years old, US Air Force Veteran and retired FBI Special Agent of 28 years, passed away on Friday, October 10th, 2025.

Devoted and loving husband of dear wife Mary Ellen of Walpole, Massachusetts, and father of a wonderful son, Roger D. of Massachusetts and predeceased by a daughter, Nicole. Surviving family members are: a terrific grandson, Kevin R. Reardon, Captain in the US Air Force (current serving overseas); Brother Charles of Massachusetts, sisters Donna of Vermont and Barbara of Connecticut, brother Mike of Texas, and a very special God child, Beth, of Maine. Roger's parents George and Imeda, and brother George, Jr., predeceased Roger. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended relatives, friends, and colleagues.

Roger was born, raised, and educated in Connecticut and Washington, DC. His FBI assignment included Atlanta, Georgia, Boston, Massachusetts, and the FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC. After retirement Roger and Mary Ellen created and managed an international private detective agency. They both "re-retired" and traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Roger's Life prayer service on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, at 10:15 am in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. Visiting hours will follow, concluding at 12:00 pm. Interment will be private.
