Rosemarie Jones

September 10, 1942 — March 13, 2022

Rosemarie Jones passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Boston on September 10, 1942, she was the daughter of Thomas P. and Rose (Coelsch) Cunnally. Rosemarie was raised in West Roxbury along with her brother and sister. She graduated from Holy Cross Academy in Brookline with the Class of 1960, where she sang in the choir and made wonderful, lifetime friends.  She and the “Holy Cross Girls” stayed close friends for over 60 years and would gather as often as possible.

After high school, Rosemarie married, settled in Dedham and raised a family with her loving husband Bob.  Together, they purchased Brick Oven Pizza in Hyde Park in 1975. Brick Oven Pizza later relocated to Dedham and became B.J.’s Restaurant which they operated until 1990. The family moved to Medfield in 1979 and Bob and Rosemarie retired to Foxborough in 1997.  Together, they enjoyed following along with their children and grandchildren’s athletic and artistic ventures. Her love for Bob showed as she became his caregiver during his battle with Alzheimer’s until his passing in 2015.

Rosemarie treasured hosting family dinners for everyone, loving when everyone was together.  She kept herself busy with her passions. She found happiness in music, going to concerts for artists she loved like Neil Diamond, John Fogarty, and the Grateful Dead. She also loved to travel, taking cruises down to the warm Caribbean and Aruba. When she was home, she spent countless hours reading, watching movies and catching up on politics. She always had an eye for fashion, often shopping for clothes or things to spruce up her home that would bring her joy. Her last few years were spent enjoying life and many laughs with her dear companion Kevin.
