Shirley Norris L'Amoureux

Shirley Norris (Scott) L'Amoureux, age 96, passed away in The Masonicare Center in Wallingford, Connecticut on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Bronson B. and Annie (Weedon) Scott.

Shirley married her beloved husband, Rodney L'Amoureux and together the young couple made her home in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where Shirley took om the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. As her children grew up, Shirley ventured out to the working world, operating her own Dance Studio and took a position at the Wellesley Women's Fitness Center, working as a yoga instructor. After she and her husband retired, they settled in Walpole, Massachusetts in 1993, where Shirley became a member of the United Church.

Loving mother of Lynne Norris Deshler of Estacada, Oregon and Dale Leslie L'Amoureux - Ferris of East Hampton, Connecticut.
Sister of the late Richard R. Scott.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a graveside service in Knollwood Memorial Park, High Street Canton on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, Walpole.
