Theresa C Ursino

d. July 6, 2020

Theresa C. (Sherlog) Ursino passed away in her East Walpole, Massachusetts home, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the devoted daughter of the late Victor J. and Mary C. (Richardson) Sherlog-McGrath.  She was the beloved step-daughter of Louis J. McGrath of Braintree.  She spent her early years in Cambridge, but was raised in Somerville and moved to South Weymouth after high school graduation.

She attended Curry College and received her certificate in Paralegal Studies at Newbury College.  As a woman who loved to travel, she began taking European trips, falling in love with the country of Italy.  She loved Italy so much that Terry packed her bags and moved to Rome, where she took a position with the World Food Bank division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Upon her return home to the United States of America, Terry took a position with the corporate Legal Department of Dunkin' Donuts, working as a Paralegal to the General Counsel.

Terry met her husband, Joseph Ursino, on a blind date that was set up by friends.  They were married on August 5, 1979 in Saint Clare's Church in Braintree.  The couple initially made their home together in Quincy, where they welcomed their son, Mark, and in 1986, the family settled into their home in East Walpole.  Terry continued and advanced her career with Dunkin’ Donuts, for more than 40 years before her retirement in 2018 as Senior Manager of Intellectual Property.

When she wasn't hard at work, Terry loved spending time outdoors, whether at the beach or walking around Bird Park in East Walpole.  She also loved music and looked forward to "date nights" with Joe, where they could show off their ballroom dancing skills.  Most of all, she loved being in her back yard, around her swimming pool, surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of Joseph Ursino.
Loving mother of Mark Ursino and his wife, Jessica, of Mansfield.
Cherished grandmother of Sienna Ursino.

As a result of the ongoing and ever-developing health crisis in the world and with genuine concern for the people whom they love, Terry’s family has decided that her funeral services will be private.  Interment will take place in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Theresa Ursino to support cancer research and patient care at:
