Thomas L. Giampietro, Jr.

October 14, 1949 — April 15, 2021

Thomas L. Giampietro Jr., age 71, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home in Walpole, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Watertown, Massachusetts on October 14, 1949, he was the son of the late Thomas L. and Eleanor Jeanne (Pascuzzi) Giampietro.  He was raised in Watertown, where he graduated from Watertown High School with the Class of 1967.  Following his graduation, Tom continued his education, taking several courses at Bryant College.

Tom worked as a food broker for many years at Edward, Shaughnessy, Toomey, Fitzgerald, Veto, staying with the company through several name changes.  While working in the food broker business, Tom met his wife to be, Elizabeth A. Daniels.  They were married on July 17, 1982 in New Hampshire and made their first home together in Norwood, Massachusetts and five years later, Tom moved his family to their home in Walpole.  Tom continued his career as a food broker and for almost ten years has been employed by Alliance Sales and Marketing.

Throughout his life, Tom was an avid Boston sports fan and had a special love for the Boston Bruins.  Any time one of the hometown teams were on, there was Tom cheering them on.  He also enjoyed being outdoors on the golf course, playing a round or two with his work buddies and family.

Most of all, Tom was dedicated to his family.  As a young Dad, he looked forward to his family's annual ski trip to New Hampshire, and he and Liz enjoyed traveling the world, visiting places such as Italy, Monte Carlo, and his favorite spot in Bermuda.  The couple also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, visiting various vineyards to sample the local wine, or searching for the perfect Italian restaurant.  Back at home, Tom loved being surrounded by his family during the holidays and was absolutely delighted to see his family grow with the addition of his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Daniels) Giampietro.
Loving father of Terryn Lance and her husband, Chris, of Hudson, Ohio, Cori Clinton and her husband, Daniel, of Norton, and Christopher Giampietro and his wife, Hannah Polster, of South Boston.
