Thomas George King

Thomas George King, age 83, passed away in the Landmark Hospital in Naples, Florida on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 28, 1935, he was the son of the late Thomas S. and Alma E. (Blois) King.
 
Thomas married the love of his life, Margaret Helen Ratti, on September 20, 1959 in Boston.  He was a very successful businessman for Ford Motor Company and Fred Jones Inc. for over 40 years. After several moves across the country, he and Margaret retired in Bonita Springs, Florida.
 
Thomas had a passion for helping others. He was an extremely warm and compassionate man who would give the shirt off his back if it would help somebody. He had a relentless sense of humor. He would light up the darkest rooms with his wit. His love for his family and friends knew no ends.
 
Beloved husband of Margaret Helen (Ratti) King.
Loving father of Thomas George King, Jr. and his wife Catherine of Michigan, Stephen Scott King and his wife Kathleen of Ohio, and Mark Edward King and his wife Lana of Michigan.
Cherished grandfather of Leslie Katherine King, Kellie Alexandra King, and Blake Thomas King.
Brother of Lois Jennings and the late Alma Dempsey and Robert King.
 
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 9:00 to 9:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
