Edwin V. Jankowski, Jr., age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 27, 2020. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on January 16, 1952, he was the son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth A. (Sullivan) Jankowski. He was raised on Washington Street in East Walpole with his sisters, Betty Anne and Patricia, and his brother, Bill. Ed attended Walpole High School, where he was a standout athlete, earning his varsity letters in both Football and Hockey, before graduating with the Class of 1970.
Following his graduation from high school, Ed took a job with Walpole Fencing and went on to work with the Reliable Fence Company. As a devoted Dad, Ed loved raising his sons on Scout Road in East Walpole, and looked forward to coaching them in soccer, basketball, and baseball. More recently, Ed made his home in Norwood, before settling in Wareham, Massachusetts, where he took any opportunity to visit the local beaches.
